When combing the Petzl PANTIN along with the CROLL, ASCENSION or ASCENTREE rope clamps it facilitates keeping the body in a more upright position when ascending fixed ropes, making for faster and less tiring vertical progress. Available in both LEFT and RIGHT footed versions. The frame has been refined to decrease friction and allow the device to glide easily along the rope. The stainless steel toothed-cam is integrated into the frame to prevent rubbing against the rope and facilitate passage of the rope through the device and features a self-cleaning slot which optimises performance under wet, icy or dirty conditions. Adjustment is easy with Petzl's DoubleBack buckle and releases from the rope with a simple backwards movement of the foot. Backed by Petzl's three year guarantee against any defects in materials or manufacture.
