Petzl CROLL

Ventral rope clamp

The Petzl CROLL is a ventral rope clamp designed for rope ascents in conjunction with the Petzl ASCENSION. It is available in two versions to adapt to different rope diameters. The angled attachment hole keeps the device properly aligned on the chest. The stainless steel toothed-cam is integrated into the frame to prevent rubbing against the rope and facilitate passage of the rope through the device and features a self-cleaning slot which optimises performance under wet, icy or dirty conditions. A safety catch is opened by pinching for easy, simple manipulation and totally integrated into the body of the rope clamp to help prevent snagging and helping keep the rope captured. Backed by Petzl's three year guarantee against any defects in materials or manufacture.

    Available in two versions:
CROLL S: For ropes 8-11 mm in diameter. This version has a rope channel reinforced with stainless steel making it suitable for use in harsh environments.
