RUD VRS-F Starpoint Eyebolts

Rigging Services supplies the RUD VRS-F Starpoint which is designed for a dynamic load of at least 20,000 changes and tested at an overload of 50%. Manufactured from 1.6541 forged material alloy that has been quenched and tempered. Both body and bolt are 100% electromagnetic alloy crack tested in accordance with specification EN 1677. By using a Starpoint you get a WLL that is several times higher than the standard DIN 580 and comes fully tested and approved by the German DGUV Test. Unlike a standard eye bolt, the RUD Starpoint rotates 360° adjusting to the direction of pull and is designed to accept the rated working load limit (WLL) up to 90° from the thread resulting in a 4:1 saftey factor availble in any direction. Supplied with an annealed star-profile key as standard for easy assembly or disassembly. We're sure you'll agree that the RUD Starpoint is the perfect alternative to the rigid eyebolt. If you should require a different thread diameter, type or length, please call one of our branches who will be happy to assist.

    DGUV Test
Since 1984, a product receiving the German DGUV Test mark, must undergo comprehensive type testing by a DGUV Test testing and certification body. The tests determine whether the product complies with the safety and health requirements. A key part of the certification programme is product inspection, which ensures that the mark is not abused.

With over 40 years experience in maintaining it’s own rental fleet , Rigging Services offers the same regime of inspection and testing in compliance with the LOLER regulations to it’s clients.
