Harken Snatchet 65 Block
Detail
The Harken Snatchet 65 is a compact and flexible piece of rigging equipment that utilises a karabiner in conjunction with a high-efficiency pulley. The Snatchet can be placed into an existing rig without the need to remove the load or disconnect from the anchor point. The large diameter pulley reduces wear and friction on the rope and the rigid connection between the karabiner and pulley eliminates the risk of misalignment and increases the distance between the anchor point and the rope travel position. Available in black with ratcheting and non-ratcheting versions. The multi-faceted sheave in the ratchet version provides 15 times the rope holding power of a round sheave and can be “activated/deactivated” under load using the provided sliding on/off switch. The non-ratcheting version offers a traditional smooth pulley. The pulley side plates on either option are made of fibre-reinforced composite material to keep them light. Sheaves are stainless steel and the ANSI-certified locking karabiner is carbon steel.
