Petzl GRILLON Adjustable Lanyard
Adjustable lanyard for work positioning
Detail
The Petzl GRILLON is a work positioning lanyard designed to complement a fall-arrest system. Available in seven different lengths (2, 3, 4, 5, 10, 15 and 20 m), it can be easily and precisely adjusted as necessary by operating the handle (which controls a pivoting cam). The GRILLON can be connected to the ventral attachment point of a harness (single mode) when the anchor is located above the user so that the load is evenly distributed between the belt and the leg loops. When a user's weight is supported by his/her feet (double mode), the GRILLON connects to the side attachment points of the harness ensuring better load distribution on the belt. Sewn terminations on both ends with plastic sheath keeps the connector in position and protects the rope from abrasion while a durable fabric sheath protects the rope from abrasive contact and enhances rope glide. This protection can be removed for single mode use, to bring the user closer to the anchor. The Petzl GRILLON is certified to North American, European and Russian standards. All Petzl products are guaranteed for three years against any defects in materials or manufacture.
