3M™ Protecta® Adjustable Positioning Lanyard 2m

Work positoning lanyard where the worker can utilise a structure or fixed ladder for partial support and stability, leaving both hands free to complete a task

Rigging Services offers the 3M™ Protecta® work positioning lanyard which enables the user to be partially supported on a structure or fixed ladder and the freedom to use both hands to complete a task, whilst maintaining stability. The user must ensure that a suitable secondary means of fall protection is used (e.g. a fall arrest lanyard). Constructed from 10.5 mm diameter braided polyamide rope with sewn terminations covered with heat shrink tubing to provide greater durability in high wear areas. Either a zinc plated adjuster or the trigger device (maximum user weight of 140 kg) allows the user to easily adjust the lanyard length from 1.10 metres to a maximum of 2 metres.
