Petzl ABSORBICA-Y Double Lanyard With Energy Absorber

The Petzl ABSORBICA-Y is a double lanyard with integrated compact energy absorber designed for progression on a vertical structure or a horizontal lifeline (rope or cable) or on an elevated platform, and when passing intermediate anchors. A durable fabric pouch which opens at each end, protects the energy absorber from abrasion or contaminants while allowing for regular inspection of the absorber. The energy absorber works with users who weigh between 50 and 130 kg by progressively tearing stitched webbing that reduces the impact of a fall. It has several installation options on the harness and can be used with different types of connectors. It is available in two lengths: 80 or 150 cm (without connectors) with or without MGO large-opening connectors certified to European or international standards. The 150 cm version has an elasticized arm, to avoid hindering progression. Depending on the connectors used, ABSORBICA-Y is certified to American, European and Russian standards. All Petzl products are guaranteed for three years against any defects in materials or manufacture.
