Petzl Helmet Replacement Foam

With constant use, your Petzl helmet will collect perspiration, dirt and oils at critical contact points that are designed to provide comfort. Why not extend the life of your VERTEX or STRATO helmet by replacing the foam? Petzl supplies two different materials according to your needs. The standard comfort foam is closed-cell and does not absorb moisture or perspiration and is easy to care for, while the absorbent comfort foam is open-cell, absorbing perspiration and is machine washable. The Comfort Foam is available in standard or absorbent foam and fits all VERTEX (2019 and newer) and STRATO helmet headbands. Should you need a replacement headband, the comfort foam is supplied and comes in a pack of 5 ready for easy installation. Unlike the VERTEX, the STRATO helmet has an upper foam that is open-cell making it absorbent to perspiration and can be replaced or washed by machine. All Petzl products are guaranteed for three years against any defects in materials or manufacture.
