Petzl PIXA Series Headtorch

The Petzl PIXA series provides reliable, practical and durable lighting for the professional. The PIXA can be comfortably worn on the head, mounted on a helmet with the supplied mounting plate or placed on the floor keeping your hands free to do the job. No working environment is too tough as the PIXA has been built to withstand falls from a height of 2m and impacts and crushing under 80kg. The PIXA series boasts an IP 67 rating which means it will remain watertight after being immersed for up to 30 minutes at a depth of -1 metre, it also meets ATEX Zone 2/22 certification requirements for work in explosive environments.

The Petzl PIXA range is diverse with a number of model specific features. The PIXA 1 has a low and high light mode with a wide beam pattern that is suitable for close range work. The PIXA 2, 3 & 3R have a low-intensity mode that makes close-range work comfortable using a mixed beam with a wide, uniform flood and the high-intensity mode which is designed to allow the user to move around comfortably using a wide beam in conjunction with a focused beam. The PIXA 3 and 3R have a third lighting mode adapted for long-range vision by using a more focused beam. The PIXA 3R has a rechargeable battery and three battery life parameters that allow the user to prioritise the lighting performance according to the need.
