Petzl OMNI
Semi-circle alloy karabiner
Detail
The half-moon Petzl OMNI is used to close harnesses that have two attachment points that must be joined with a connector. It has a breaking strength of 15 kN when loaded in any direction. The Petzl Keylock system helps prevent snagging of the karabiner during manoeuvres. Each karabiner is individually tested and given Petzl's standard three year guarantee against any defects in materials or manufacture. Available in two different locking systems:
SCREW-LOCK locking system:
- Red indicator provides a visual warning when the karabiner is unlocked
- Recommended for harsh environments (mud, ice), where dust and dirt could cause an automatic locking mechanism to malfunction
- Recommended when a karabiner needs to be opened and closed occasionally
Automatic TRIACT-LOCK locking system:
- Unlocks quickly in two steps, by raising and then turning the sleeve
- Recommended when a karabiner needs to be frequently opened and closed
