Petzl OK Alloy Karabiner series

The Petzl OK is a versatile symmetric oval-shaped karabiner for optimal positioning of equipment (pulleys, rope clamps, mobile fall arresters, etc.) making it ideal for hauling. May be used with the Petzl CAPTIV positioning bar to favour loading of the karabiner along the major axis, to keep it integrated with the device, and to limit the risk of it flipping. The Keylock system helps prevent snagging of the karabiner during manoeuvres. The H cross-section design ensures an optimal strength/weight ratio and protects traceability markings from abrasion. Each karabiner is individually tested and given Petzl's standard three year guarantee against any defects in materials or manufacture. The Petzl OK is available in three locking systems:

    Automatic BALL-LOCK locking system:
       - Green dot indicates when sleeve is locked
       - Quick to unlock in two steps, by pressing on the green dot and turning the sleeve
       - Can be opened and closed with one hand
       - Recommended when a karabiner needs to be frequently opened and closed

    Manual SCREW-LOCK locking system:
       - Red indicator provides a visual warning when the karabiner is unlocked
       - Recommended for harsh environments (mud, ice), where dust and dirt could cause an automatic locking mechanism to malfunction
       - Recommended when a karabiner needs to be opened and closed occasionally

    Automatic TRIACT-LOCK locking system:
       - Unlocks quickly in two steps, by raising and then turning the sleeve
       - Recommended when a karabiner needs to be frequently opened and closed
