Distro cables are the final link in delivering power and control to an individual electric chain hoist. One distro comprises of two cables paired together with an industry standard 4-pole CEE form style connector at each end of a 1.5 or 2.5 mm2 cross section cable of lengths varying from 2 to 40 metres. The power cable (red connector) conveys 415 Volts of three phase power while the control cable (yellow connector) carries 110 Volts of single phase power. The connector ends are reversed to prevent mismatching. Our entire plant hire stock of electrical chain hoists, cable and control are all regularly tested and inspected by Rigging Services to ensure safe and dependable operation.

Hoist Mains Distro Connectors: Male 4-pin Red CEE Form and Female 4-pin Red Cee Form

Cable: Durable, unshielded rubber cable for indoor or outdoor installation in dry, damp or wet environments and hazardous environments (subject to local regulations). The synthetic rubber compound is resistant to ozone, UV rays, sunlight and weathering.
