Hoist Mains Fan Out

Distributes 3-phase 415 volts of AC power from a multicore cable to 4 separate hoists

Fan outs are also referred to in the rigging industry as break out ‘spiders’ and are an integral part of every successful lift where multiple hoists are used. A mains fan out connects to a multicore cable which originates at the hoist controller and is responsible to redistribute power to individual electric chain hoists. When used in conjunction with a low voltage (LV) hoist controller, the mains fan out carries 3-phase 415 volts of AC power to 4 separate hoists. Each mains fan out connects to a multicore cable by means of an industry standard 19-pin male Socapex style connector to 4 separate 4-pole female red CEE form connectors via a 1 metre long 1.5 or 2.5 mm2 cross section cable. Our entire plant hire stock of electrical chain hoists, cable & control are all regularly tested and inspected by Rigging Services to ensure safe and dependable operation.

Connectors: Male 19-pin Socapex and x4 Female Red CEE Form 4-pin 16A

Cable: Durable, unshielded rubber cable for indoor or outdoor installation in dry, damp or wet environments and hazardous environments (subject to local regulations). The synthetic rubber compound is resistant to ozone, UV rays, sunlight and weathering.
