The Petzl HUIT is a compact and lightweight figure-eight descender for descending on a single or double rope. The HUIT utilises a square shape to reduce twisting of the ropes and formation of a lark's head hitch. The small hole can be used with thin ropes if necessary, or as a belay plate. Optional anti-burn tab on black anodised version for holding the device when it is hot from a long or rapid descent. Backed by Petzl's three year guarantee against any defects in materials or manufacture.
